    WELCOME TO ENCOMPASS FOR TEENS

    Teen program

We believe our teens today are reacting to an existential emptiness in our culture with negative coping behaviors such as over use of social media, substance addictions, mental health issues, eating disorders, school failures, and even suicides. Treating the cause of these issues as well as symptoms requires a physical, mental, and spiritual approach in order for teens to thrive and attain lasting transformation into adulthood. Encompass takes just such an approach, sensitive to the unique needs of our adolescents and their family members, whose involvement is highly encouraged throughout treatment since family is where we all live.

    WELCOME TO ENCOMPASS FOR ADOLESCENT/CHILD

    Adolescent/child program

We have therapists who specialize in working with teens and their specific, complicated, albeit media-driven fragile mental health issues and/or burgeoning addictions. Our teens face such a different world than we did as adults and their mental health care needs to be tailor-made to be relevant to them and their world. We love these teens that come our way. We meet them where they are. We truly help them and support them. We bond with them. They are part of the therapeutic process, treatment planning and identification of personal goals in therapy. They become invested in healthy outcomes. We work collaboratively with medical community resources if and when necessary.

Once we get our teens stabilized, in most cases we then begin to focus on the family as well because family is where we live. We seek to stabilize family systems to support growth, healthy relationships and effective communication. Our satisfied families often.

I would love to thank everyone there. They have given me the "wings beneath my soul". I just received acceptance to return for the final session to complete my masters. I have struggled with finishing my degree, and without this transformation, could not see where I was going. Bless everyone...hopefully you will know the impact you have made in my life.

Your support and guidance to our family during this tough time was invaluable. I feel strongly now that you have been extended into our lives so that we could meet and continue to be friends. Your work is something else—nothing we have ever seen before, and our entire family has commented on the genuine, raw, realness of the community. It’s the kind of atmosphere that can enrich me and other members of my family.

You have helped me in my relationship with God, my wife and children and with the residents at Randlin House. Two years ago, life was not so good. Today, I am clean and sober and surrounded by God’s grace. I will always remember my time with you in California.

Thanks for all you have done in providing a community of love and recovery. I had 30 days sobriety when I started with you. I now have nine years. You have played an integral part in my nine year sober walk. Congratulations on your ninth anniversary and thank you.

I can’t begin to thank you for being an internet angel! My daughter will be 60 days clean, tomorrow, and one of her biggest motivators is going to your meetings. Although we are taking everything one day at a time, she has found a community that she truly loves to be a part of! I can’t tell you what a gift that is to me! What you are doing there for young people struggling with addiction as well as older members is magic. What an amazing community you have built!

By the grace of God, in about a week I will have been blessed by six continuous years of sobriety. I have three incredible grandchildren that have been born in the last three years, and I thank God every day for allowing me to be the Papa I am today rather than the Papa I would have been. All credit belongs to God, but I want you to know that a portion of my gratitude is reserved for you. I am witness to Him using you to fulfill His will.
